The Man With The Beautiful Eyes The lesson of Professor

Jonathan Hodgson, 2000 (UK) - 5 '- cartoon

Children playing in a vacant lot around the house apparently abandoned. One day they meet its occupant, a man to look "hot" ...

In this embodiment, Jonathan Hodgson imaged the beautiful poem by Bukowski, The Man With The Beautiful Eyes . He worked in collaboration with illustrator John Hannah for a "visual poetry" enveloping images of great fluidity, vibrant colors, undulating lines.

The poet's words are particularly valued and treated as "actors" in their own right.

This wonderful short film helps to immerse ourselves in the text, to make us live a moment in the poet's thought.
